Michael Hiskey is a performing artist/songwriter that hails from Salisbury, NC. Originally from Kansas, Michael left home after his high school graduation to tour for a year with what was then Lutheran Youth Encounter's "Captive Free" east coast ministry team. From there he studied music at Peabody conservatory in Baltimore, MD. He toured for a while with Dave Henderson forming "His Sons",... a duo that toured the east coast as well as appearances at American military bases in South Korea. Michael has spent over 30 years serving as contemporary worship leader and providing music for a wide array of venues and functions. Michael continues to write, record, and perform mostly his own original music either accompanied with his guitar or his hammered dulcimer. He has released two album projects, one of which is listed here (Check This Out).
